The position
The position on the Sales Director Switzerland based in the eastern Area of Switzerland is a strategic, challenging and rewarding role, driving strategy and business development within our client to his largest and most important customers.
The Manager is responsible for creating the corporate business plan for developing the business in Switzerland and communicating it to relevant contacts within the organisation. The role requires an experienced, commercially professional who has the skills and personal attributes to work at the highest level within our client’s customers.
Responsibilities
The development and implementation of a clear business plan to target and grow the business based upon a close relationship with and an intimate knowledge of our key customers and their markets.
- Drive our client’s sector initiatives in close cooperation with the global responsible sector manager. Align actions to sector business plan.
- Ensure profit, margins and ROI are maximised through diligent management of prices and commercial agreements
- Ensure best class project management from acquisition through execution and takes care of communication
- Establishing and agreeing clear goals and objectives in the Account Team
- Review in the development of Account plans that ensure a clearly differentiated strategy that will deliver the growth we need with the targeted accounts
- Identify industry, key customer product and service requirements and ensure they are implemented as appropriate
- Manage Channels to market
The Profile

Technical certification in Mechanical or/and Electronic Engineering / HNC level preferred

Proven track record of driving sales growth through strategy development and implementation within the Business environment

Experience of understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop appropriate Business and Account strategies

Skilled in Key Account Management and Project Management

Application/Product experience within the pneumatic and fluid industry as well as the existing range of products

40 bar technology and PET business knowledge are a must
-
Market know-how of mechanical engineering components and the current subjects in this field

Persuasiveness, both in relation to the own organization and towards the most important business contacts of our customers

Flexible and result-oriented attitude; should be able to quickly identify oneself with the decision making processes at customers/suppliers and to recognize the possibilities to improve them (also from a financial point of view)

A desire to succeed personally and drive performance in others through leadership

Self starter/demonstrates initiative

Language skills: fluent in German, good knowledge of English and French
