Head of Innovation - Europe

The Head of Innovation – Europe is ultimately responsible for leading a team of 2 people to ensure: (i) The relative strength and I3 management of the full European Innovation Pipeline (product/commercial) vs. 5 Year Strategic Plan requirements; (ii) Presentation of key initiatives in Region Europe in partnership with Region Category Heads; (iii) Evaluation and prioritization of NGO opportunities; (iv) Representation and alignment of EU Region needs with global category priorities; and (v) Elevation of local innovation priorities as required.  The European Innovation team will also partner with BD&L/M&A to evaluate new opportunities as required.

• Partner with RCH’s to ensure overall delivery of Innovation Pipeline in-line with Overall EU 5 Year Strategic Plan
• Ensure “Fewer, Bigger” initiatives across Europe, consolidating projects and making scaling up as much as possible
• Manage European I3 process, ensuring markets are clear on volumetric assumptions and on all supported innovations in the pipeline
• Evaluate NGOs, BD&L, and M&A opportunities as required with appropriate partners
• Personally own and drive CCR and Commercial Innovation agenda across Region EU working with key stakeholders as appropriate.
• Own and drive the Region Innovation Process in accordance with RLT/GLT expectations.
• Monitor, track and report against category innovation priorities, delivery and performance.
• Keep external focus and represent key competitive innovation activities to adjust plans as necessary.
• Deliver against key EU Marketing Organization Building activities as assigned within EMLT.
