The company
Our Customer is the world’s leading provider of severe service control valve solutions. Our customer develops, designs, and manufactures a wide range of valves for use in the nuclear industry, power industry, oil and gas industry, and pulp and paper plants worldwide. The European Competence Center for nuclear industry is based in Zurich-Area and includes development, production and implementation of new systems, spare parts and retrofits. Highest requirements concerning quality and appliance to regulations are typical in this market.
Responsibilities
You are part of the Project Management group and take responsibility for new systems from order placement until successful installation and acceptance at customer’s site. During the project phase you communicate with sales, engineering, purchasing, production and the installation team to ensure compliance to time-schedule and regulations.
The Profile
We expect candidates with a technical background in mechanical engineering, experience with complex, long-term and international customer-projects and high level of project-management and communication skills. Fluent German and English are mandatory – French skills would be a big advantage. Willingness to travel and experience in nuclear power plants or another highly regulated market are also required as are your power, energy, dynamic and overview.
As highly motivated project manager you get the opportunity to run projects all over Europe in a very complex market. Your position will grow with your projects complexity, so you can position yourself as contact for customer and partners.
