 Operations Executive Grains

Job Purpose

Record daily trading operations in our Integrated Trading system, follow-up all aspects of contract execution and the operations associated with shipments by vessel.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the smooth flow of information between various departments and in particular between the Trading, Legal, Insurance, Treasury & Accounting Departments.
2. Monitoring shipments includes; arranging payments / receipts against shipping documents, L/C negotiation, stock management, and calculation of demurrage and dispatch.
3. Coordination of vessel document communication, nomination, chartering advice and appropriation and follow up to interested parties.
4. Finalization of quality and weight claims, liquidations of files in due time.

Key results areas:

1. Timely delivery of client’s orders with minimum of claims etc
2. Ensuring Suppliers deliver cargo timely, with correct documentation
3. Proper file keeping

Required skills

With a Bachelor or master degree, you have an experience in a similar position for a minimum of 5 years in Grain (or similar).

You are highly computer literate, able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and in a methodical, detailed and accurate fashion with a great attention to details.

You are a good communicator at all levels and are custumer oriented (internal and external)
