European BloodTrack Senior Product Manager
The Senior Product Manager evaluates current BloodTrack offering as well as other HAE software products working closely with the BloodTrack General Manager ELA and other business stakeholders to build the BloodTrack franchise ELA to support our BMS business model. This person will develop a comprehensive knowledge of BloodTrack, Haemonetics legacy devices, Global Med and Inlog software portfolios, as well as competitive software products. Key responsibilities for this role management of all aspects of the commercialization of the BloodTrack portfolio. This Marketing professional's keen understanding of the key markets' drivers will be critical strategic input to identify future market needs and opportunities.
Additionally the Senior Product Manager will:
- Support the Haemonetics ELA organization to achieve or exceed ELA BloodTrack growth target of $25M in 5 years.
- Lead the development and implementation of all aspects of a marketing and clinical programs continuum designed to create new markets for BloodTrack in ELA, and advance existing markets through the continuum to advocacy for the product.
- Identifies market, opportunities and feasibility of product development and/or business development including economic analyses on new and improved blood management solutions for the market segment.
- Creates segment specific strategic business development plan. Responsible for the development of the entire portfolio of marketing deliverables including business plan, business case, marketing plan, positioning, channel analysis, identification of right solutions for new technology platforms, life cycle plan for existing products(including product rationalization).
- Conduct market research activities, represent the voice of the customer , define market positioning
- Identify and implement future product & program offerings to drive growth in the software segment.
- Prepare all steps for market introduction, coordinate development of Marcom material, conduct internal and external product presentations, coordinate customer acceptance trials
- Ensure overall pricing consistency
- Manage post-release activities including business planning, analysis and reporting, participation to product enhancements
- Builds market intelligence systems and insures information is available to build a competitive edge
- Proliferates best practices by working closely with Regional and Global sales and marketing colleagues and Key Opinion leaders to share best practices, successes and identify synergistic opportunities
- Project Leader for cross functional team projects and initiatives required to drive BloodTrack growth.
- Recognized as local ELA expert on BloodTrack product and local blood tracking legislation and practices
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BS/BA required, MBA or post-graduate in International Marketing preferred
- 5+ years experience in product marketing with international healthcare software industry, preferably medical devices
- Experience working with both direct and distributor sales channels and other market channel partners.
- Required marketing competencies: strategic thinking, willingness to be very “hands on”, strong execution, market & product development, building & maintaining internal and external relationships, planning & analysis, product & market management
- Proven ability in optimizing communication, taking initiative, promoting teamwork, setting directions and driving results in a global matrix organisation, driving innovation & change
- Advance computer knowledge in MS Office, CRM (salesforce.com preferred) and ERP datamining
- Fluent English, other European languages a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel ~ 20%.
