Tasks and job requirements

  • Organize and conduct UX studies and methods
  • Further develop UX and Human-Centred Design methods and establish them in the research team
  • Supporting other researchers in their projects with knowledge and expertise regarding UX, Human-Centred Design and Usability
  • Support other researchers in the acquisition and implementation of UX studies and user studies in general
  • Develop feedback systems
  • Develop UX quality system within the research team
  • Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
  • Teaching in different modules of the Major Human-Centred Interaction Design and in the BSc Immersive Technologies
  • Develop the curriculum of the Major Human-Centred Interaction Design
  • Support for student projects and theses

Your profile

  • PhD /or Master in Curriculum UX, or Design and Assessment or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in assessment design and validation
  • 3+ years of experience in project planning
  • Demonstrated research and evaluation design and implementation skills
  • Demonstrated data collection skills (e.g. usability testing, interviewing, observation, focus group moderation, and survey administration)
  • Demonstrated prototyping skills
  • Expertise in formative and summative assessment and feedback research with a track record of scholarly contributions
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask, address issues quickly and efficiently, and work independently
  • Ability to do acquisition of new projects and sell UX services within the research group but also to possible customers/project partners
  • Professional proficiency in English, German is a plus
