Global Brand Team Lead - Rare Disease

We are seeking you who are an experienced and inspirational team leader to join our Nephrology Portfolio Team. We want you to lead the Global Brand Team of our key launch product in Rare Nephrology Disease to drive brand growth and improve kidney health for IgAN patients. You will lead and develop a high performing cross functional team and create a culture of accountability anchored on the core CSL Vifor values of patient focus, innovation, integrity, collaboration and superior performance. This leadership role is based in Zurich, will have a direct report and you will report to our Global Head of Nephrology Portfolio. Your accountabilities are focused on the following:
Main Accountabilities

Lead the commercialization of the brand and the cross functional teams

Lead the global brand planning, develop the global asset plan, guide the global strategic plan (3 y) and the global operational plan (1y)

Lead the long range plan development and set the revenue and volume performance metrics and align on the pricing to drive profitable growth

Lead the launch readiness global execution and guide the country execution

Collaborating with countries to provide guidance on engagement model, resourcing, gain insights, develop the training plans and drive execution of strategic and operational plans.

Lead the assessment of patient potential and identification of opportunities

Lead the brand insight generation cross functionally to assess implications and drive actions to drive growth

Set the brand and disease knowledge level and guide the development of the cross functional training.

Ensure budget coordination and tracking of the annual investment budget cross functionally globally across all functions, therapeutic areas to drive profitable growth.

Upskilling and coaching direct report(s) and members of the GBT
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements
-
Scientific academic education (Master’s degree or PhD) or MD
-
Minimum 8 years of experience in the life sciences industry, thereof minimum 5 years of experience in an international company

Strong track record in operational sales and marketing management at country level as well as in international strategic and operational brand management experience
-
Working experience in a dynamic, international experience and in a fast-growing organisation
-
Track record of successful product launch in national and international settings
-
Track record of achieving results in matrix organization settings

Leadership experience from previous positions
-
Experience in leading highly skilled teams
-
Financial and budgeting skills and experience
-
Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications

Able to travel at least 20-25%
Preferred Requirements

MBA

Leadership experience from previous position as General Manager or BU head of a country organization

Scientific / medical academic education or background
-
Marketing and sales experience in the therapeutic area(s)

Documented success in gaining or maintaining market leadership position
