Your mission

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the study program in Digital Life Sciences
  • Provide supervision, instruction, and mentorship to students throughout their educational journey
  • Undertake R&D projects and industrial assignments within the Institute of Life Sciences
  • Participate in the acquisition of R&D project mandates

Your profile

  • PhD or MSc in Life Sciences or related field, a minimum of 5 years professional experience, industry or academic, in data science, statistics, biostatistics or a related field
  • Demonstrated strong background in statistics, particularly in experimental design and analysis of experimental data
  • Proven proficiency in programming with a focus on scientific programming, data architecture, experimental data analysis and machine learning/artificial intelligence
  • Experience in Life Sciences, a focus on bioanalytical chemistry, food technology, or bioprocess engineering is an advantage
  • Considered advantageous: experience in automation, teaching, and R&D project development
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in either French or German

Employment : 80-100%

Place of work : Sion
