RF Applications Support Engineer

For reinforcing our RF-Team we are looking for a highly motivated

RF Applications Support Engineer

You will have the mission to develop applications, resolve applications issues, review data sheets, design and develop new product applications/demo boards, define products and visit customers where on-site application support is needed.

Your essential duties will include:

• Provide applications support for ISM band RF transceiver products and solutions from concept through production.
• Resolve customer applications issues, work with design/test to ensure adequate test coverage and support evaluation of customer field returns.
• Develop product definition & design-in support through interfacing with clients, field sales & marketing personnel.
• Responsible for new product definition & verification, documentation of application notes, design & layout of evaluation boards and development tools.
• Work closely with Design Engineering throughout the design process to ensure compliance to specifications & customer requirements.
• Active participation with marketing and design engineering in the evolution of product definition.
• Conduct final application of product(s).
• Work with Test & Design Engineering to fully characterize and verify final product.

You hold a BSc., BSEE or equivalent degree (MSEE or beyond preferred) with at least 5 years of industry experience related with application board-level RF design both from theoretical & practical standpoints. You have the ability to analyze application problems, provide structured approach to problem solving and work through implementation plan with customers. Experience of bringing products into production is an advantage.

You are used in documentation of activity to ensure efficient project tracking and maximize solution re-use (authoring of application notes and publications a plus). We expect experience in 2.4GHz proprietary and standard protocol (Bluetooth) and/or in Embedded Software.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken are mandatory; second major European language an advantage.

This position is located in Marin/Neuchâtel,Switzerlandwith up to 30 – 40% of travel worldwide.
