Position:                    Senior Internal Audit Manager

Location:                    Geneva / Lausanne

Salary Guide:            160,000 CHF + Bonus

 

Introduction:

We are recruiting for a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join an ambitious and reputable multinational manufacturing company based in the Geneva / Lausanne region. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead global Audits in the operational (manufacturing) and financial environments as well as strategic
  • Responsible for developing the Audit’s to evaluate complex control environments
  • Implement best practice approaches and techniques (COSO)
  • Present Audit results to business units and senior management
  • Assessing complex activities to identify potential financial, operational and compliance risks
  • Strive to have an impact on business and add value
  • Lead risk assessments and setting up the internal audit and compliance plan
  • Assess and Report on business processes and strategies - making recommendations for improvements
  • Effectively resolve any conflicts in a professional manner
  • Develop conclusions on the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
  • Develop and maintain relationships with people at all levels within the company
  • Travel up to 70% to sites and entities across Europe, Asia and the US

 

 

 

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Educated to degree level in a Finance / business related subject
  • Professionally qualified (CIA, CPA, ACCA, Swiss Brevet etc)
  • At least 8-10 years’ Audit experience (including internal Audit) in an International environment
  • ‘Big 4’ background and advantage
  • Several years’ experience as an Auditor in the Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent knowledge of internal control reporting frameworks (e.g. COSO) and processes
  • Happy to travel international (up to 70%) to sites / entities across the EMEA as well as USA and Asia 
  • Able to work closely with senior management and VP – informing of audit results and making presentations
  • Fluent English is essential, additional language skills an advantage
  • Excellent IT skills – MS Office and ERP (Oracle, SAP, Navision)
  • You must be a Swiss or EU national or hold a current Swiss work permit
