Overview:   

Our client is a market leading US multinational with newly opened offices in Zurich. They are expanding heavily throughout EMEA and this has led to the requirement of a Treasury Manager to be based in the EMEA HQ. This position will have many challenges and projects that will benefit the right candidate for future progression.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Treasury Director in the US
  • Responsible for the Treasury and Cash Management functions across EMEA
  • Manage the EMEA cash management banking structures – Recommending changes to improve efficiency, reduce fees etc
  • Manage the EMEA cash forecast, working with the departments across the region
  • Review the daily cash management position, determining daily liquidity required actions
  • Analyse FX hedging requirements
  • Execution of FX transactions according to currency management and hedging strategies
  • Maintain bank relationships, coordinate changes to banking structures and maintenance of bank documentation
  • Preparing documentation and maintaining compliance with SOX
  • Supporting accounting, tax, FP&A, audit and other financial functions relating to treasury transactions
  • Maintaining budgets and long-term business plans for treasury entities
  • Leading Treasury projects – systems and procedures

 

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Educated to University degree level or equivalent (MBA an advantage)
  • At least 6 years treasury experience in an international environment
  • The ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments
  • Excellent project management experience and change orientated
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships and develop and maintain credibility with business leaders as well as external partners (Banks)
  • Fluent in English essential, additional European languages an advantage
  • Good IT skills – ERP and MS Office
