The Opportunity:


As the PT Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) for FP&A, you will bring strong business acumen, and technical expertise, together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy.

You will work in a dynamic environment and manage many business relationships in PT and across Pharma, Pharma Finance, and the Roche Group. You will meet the challenge of finding the right balance in an environment with risk and reward trade-offs.

Your enterprise view looking beyond PT will be a significant success factor for the role that allows you to connect the information received through various channels and analyze the impacts in PT Financials and beyond.

As part of this role, you will monitor the financial results and coordinate the monthly consolidation process. You will also analyze and communicate the actual and forecast results to the Head of PT Finance and Division Finance teams. You will be a key SPOC for the Head of PT Finance working closely on various matters impacting PT financial results. In addition, you will play a PT Finance SPOC role for Group and Division Finance stakeholders.

You will be a catalyst for the Finance transformation and work effectively to influence, leaning in as a coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion for piloting new approaches and constructively challenging the status quo. You are a quick learner who understands the business environment and portfolio and has a high degree in dealing with complexity and ambiguity.

Further responsibilities

  • Lead the PT planning process, helping to develop the PT assumptions and story

  • Work closely with PT Finance Enterprise Partners and the eCoE on monthly PTLT financial communication, MTO, and TO events on the overall PT storyline

  • Be a subject matter expert on relevant accounting topics

  • Provide Product COS support as part of the Pharma Division forecasting and planning processes

  • Lead the PT-related topics for an external audit, control the PT-relevant Group Restructuring Plans (GRPs)

Who you are:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a multinational financial management environment paired with a master's or equivalent degree in finance or accounting

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance with previous expertise in FP&A and consolidation related to COGS and Inventory

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ACCA, or CPA preferred

  • Experience with internal controls and external audits is preferred

  • A passion for change, simplification, and process improvement, as well as the ability to see through complexity and identify and remove waste

  • Resilience and ability to adjust to a fast-changing environment and to promote and apply the VACC leadership principles

  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and influencing skills and ability to build trusting and productive relationships

  • Ability to understand the business context and to apply judgment towards prioritization and decision-making

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others, generating ideas and seeing them through to action

  • Ability to navigate through a complex, broad, and diverse organization and can liaise effectively with different organizations

  • Fluent in English and good communication skills
