National Sales Manager - Rheumatology and Dermatology

Position Overview:

Eli Lilly (Suisse) SA is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated National Sales Manager to lead our Rheumatology and Dermatology sales team in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, previous experience within the rheumatology and dermatology market, a deep understanding of data-driven sales approaches, and a proven track record in sales management capability development. Additionally, this role involves leveraging data analytics and market insights to drive engagement, optimize commercial strategies, and ensure the successful promotion of our innovative rheumatology and dermatology products.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Create and execute national sales plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth for rheumatology and dermatology products.
  • Develop and implement a focused, data-driven national sales strategies to achieve a focused territory approach in order to drive continued market penetration goals for rheumatology and dermatology products.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives, utilizing market insights and data analytics.

Data Analytics and Market Insights:

  • Utilize advanced data analytics to identify market trends, customer behaviors, and sales opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data to generate actionable insights, optimize sales processes, and improve engagement strategies.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to ensure personal and professional growth. Strong focus will be on capability development
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching based on field insights to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Reinforce a strategic territory management implementation within the different regions to assure a focused customer engagement according to local market needs. Ensure aligned budget allocation across regions according to overarching product strategy.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and industry associations, leveraging data to personalize engagement.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service excellence, informed by customer data and feedback.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of sales strategy.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the rheumatology and dermatology sectors, to provide insights.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in in Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience, ideally having experiences across various positions in commercial, marketing and medical is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of rheumatology and dermatology therapeutic areas, both commercial and medical.
  • Proven track record of conducting capability building in sales teams and driving business growth through data-driven strategies.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must, French is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and methodologies, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
