Manufacturing Operator

As a Manufacturing Operator within the Manufacturing Department of Andrew Alliance, we will rely on you to manufacture specialty instrumentation and computer based hardware products which are used by our customers worldwide. Our innovations enable significant advances in a wide array of applications including Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biomedical, Food safety, Environmental, Academic and Government industries. In this exciting job opportunity, you will collaborate with a diverse team who are accountable for the assembly / sub-assembly of Robotic Instruments and Devices including as well the workflow of components from their reception, their packaging to their expedition. The position would suit an enthusiastic team worker who is seeking a rewarding career with the opportunity of progression.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for:

Assembly of computer based devices and instruments.
Reception and expedition of material
Generate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
Be creative in identifying productivity improvements, efficiency and high levels of quality.
Develop strong working relationships with team members and other departments.

Qualification

Educated to Leaving Certificate level or equivalent.
Work on own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
A flexible work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment.
A keenness to develop and grow

Desirable but not essential:

A Third level qualification in a physics / electro / mechanical or logistics engineering
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
