Senior Software Engineer

Profile

- Bachelor or Master diploma (HES, EPF or equivalent) in industrial informatics, system design or electronics

- Minimum 7 years of industrial experience in embedded software, preferably in the Medical Device Industry or other highly regulated environment

- Strong team spirit and ability to evolve in a global environment

- Valid permit to work in Switzerland

- Languages:

French: fluent
English: fluent

Tasks

- Contribute to the software system architecture for new medical devices

- As part of team, design and implement embedded software for new medical devices based on Agile principles

- Develop PC based tools for development/testing purpose

- Maintain and develop the CI infrastructure within the team

- Support manufacturing and design transfer

- Contribute to software documentation compliant with medical standards

- Maintain software of existing medical device products

Role-driven skills

- Programming language

Expertise: C99
Good knowledge: C++, C#, Python, Bash
A plus: SQL, Swift, Kotlin

- Familiar with modern software design techniques/principles: Design patterns, SOLID, TDD

- Any experience within the following domains is a plus:

Wifi, Bluetooth, CAN/CANopen
Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS, Qt
Battery operated devices, cost-effective designs
System modeling (UML), Signal Processing
CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Static/Dynamic code analysis
