Logistic Supervisor

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Prepare packing, export, and shipping documents
Liaise with forwarders or subsidiaries on shipments
Close collaboration with Sales department
Support and backup for purchasing activity
Manager the inventory (multiple storage locations)
Contact with customs
Organize annual inventory count
Monitors and summarizes all Logistics activities
Execution of additional administration tasks and project based on request
Negotiate transport or logistics rates with suppliers to improve prices productivity and Supply Chain processes
Monitor the entire process of product movement
Support and Assist the Supply Chain Team
Report and maintain Logistics KPI’s
Manage, coach and train the Logistics Team

Education and Experience

A Logistician CFC is required for this position. A Federal Brevet in Logistics may be a plus. Any other professional certification will be of added advantage. Previous experience (of 5 years in similar position) in a supply chain and/or Logistics environment is required.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Intuitive, self-starter attitude, works with minimal supervision.
MRP experience.
Experience with purchasing, importation, and exportation.
Experience with Microsoft office tools and any ERP will be a plus.
Accurate, detail oriented and resistant to stress
Positive, energetic, and professional
Professional proficiency in French and English. German will be a plus
Strong Team player
