Position Summary

This position is responsible for the supplier interface across the program life cycle and all external developments. You will have to take a quantitative approach to risk management, monitoring and reporting financial performance and manage suppliers in the execution phase of build to print, development and entire sub-systems in regards of all SCM aspects.

Main Responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods and supplies
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements and process efficiencies
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy, and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiate refunds
• Coordinate and interact with all internal stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery of material, services and systems for the project
• Plan, monitor and manage external product developments from start to completion, use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
• Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs
• Controlling of project material budget to meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances
• Set and lead commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from Suppliers

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Procurement or Engineering, or similar from an accredited university or business school
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Good understanding of business aviation environment
• Solid knowledge of processes, procedures and concepts in functional area
