Required Education & Experience

• Undergraduate degree (focus on business, finance or accounting preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in either Risk Management or Claims Management or at a broker/carrier. Accounting experience may be considered in lieu of risk experience.

• Existing ARM Certification or intent to pursue certification is preferred

• Experience within the renewable energy industry will be highly regarded;

• Experience working in a multicultural environment a plus

Required Technical Skills

• Excellent PC skills – emphasis on MS Office Excel medium-advanced level (Microsoft Power BI–Business data analytics is preferred)

• SAP Experience

• Understanding of insurance and risk management basic concepts and theories.

• Experience with Risk Management Information Systems a plus as the RMI is expanding the RMIS functionality

• Fluent in insurance processes and can drive results by influencing other key players in the process

• Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities

Aktivitäten

The Risk Management Insurance Professional will assist with corporate insurance related matters of TotalEnergies supporting day-to-day administrative activities and management of regular in-house processes. They will also provide insurance and risk management support to various business units, which include insurance renewals, claims, contract reviews, budget/forecast variance analysis, as well as any project that requires corporate insurance assistance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively serving as a SME and point of contact to affiliate companies providing appropriate advice for claim reporting, budget, premium allocations, COIs management, and general insurance questions.

• Prepare Insurance Premium Projections for affiliate ’s 5-year plan and weekly Workers’ Compensation indemnity report.

• Prioritize and work independently on multiple tasks including numerous spreadsheets, SAP reporting, processing invoices, purchase orders, and conducting data research to resolve issues.

• Coordinate and collect needed exposure data from all affiliates for insurance renewals, actuarial study, and budget allocations.

• Demonstrate knowledge of insurance coverages and methods of allocation for each line of coverage to accurately distribute and clarify budget and premiums allocations to affiliates.

• Assist with claims management activities

• Analyze “Insurance Requirements” in various agreements and contracts, including Procurement, Tax Equity, and Services and confirm compliance.

• Attend and coordinate property site inspections with insurance representatives and site personnel

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of core insurance coverage forms and principles.

• Support Head of Risk Management and Insurance with various special projects, analysis and other duties as required.

Accountabilities

The position demands intense data collection; departmental and company accounting functions; affiliates’ budgets and carrier allocations; internal and external customer service; claims administration; insurance administrative activities; also, projects that require research, reconciliation, internal audit, and alignment with accounting. The position is held accountable for the work produced and responsible for providing explanations and support directly to upper management. As the RMI Analyst/Senior Analyst/Advisor, you must understand the relationships between the jobholder, business operations, claim adjusters, brokers, and insurance carriers to be effective in the job. You will work with all members of the department on a variety of projects related to claims billings to insurers along with budget and premium allocations for the U.S affiliates and JV operations. In this role, you must be flexible and able to work on several tasks at once.
