Solution Area Wholesale Finance ensures that our global financial processes within the wholesale business are supported by information technology today and in the future.
We are now looking to grow our Solution Area Wholesale Finance even more!

Job Description

As a Solution Owner you are responsible to ensure that the users of the solution have a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business objectives. 

This means that you will – for one or more solutions:

  • Have an end-to-end solution accountability; where you will work with business development, lifecycle management and operations for the assigned solutions.
  • Establish a continuous improvement plan for your solution(s) and manage the implementation via change request and release management. 
  • Manage budget for the assigned solution(s), provide budget input to the Solution Area and work with forecast and follow-up.
  • Create a strong cooperation with internal stakeholders and external IT vendors including application management services, IT delivery services and software providers.
  • Take a direct responsibility for the business support connected to your solutions including access handling, user education, troubleshooting, operation of solutions and service level fulfilment. 
  • As required you will take part and contribute in projects together with your business partners.

  • You have previous knowledge and experience of IT service management, running and maintaining corporate IT solutions, as well as leading technical development and/or knowledge in software development.
  • You are self-going, structured and dare to take decisions. 
  • You have excellent listening skills, able to interact with stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand yours.
  • You are eager to work in a global environment, to learn and to know “Why”. 
  • You act as role model for IKEA values and you have strong communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.
  • You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another and where we need to deliver these changes within short notice.

We also believe you have: 

  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in working with global and/or virtual teams
  • IKEA supply chain, finance and solutions management knowledge, seen as an advantage

NOTE: Due to long permit process we prefer candidates with valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
