Group Controller

M ission & responsabilites

The Group Controller is responsible of preparing the consolidated financial statements accounting department for the Swiss companies Business Unit "Headquarter". The Group Controller is involved in the preparation of strategic plan, budget and forecast. He is in charge of the group's tax policy (transfer pricing) as well as Swiss taxation. He manages

establishing and analysing Group reporting and of of the group. He is also responsible of the and undertake the controlling activities for the

accounting and finance. He ensures compliance with the accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER) and relevant laws. Furthermore, he provides financial

and develops two reports in managerial roles in support to the finance teams of the entire group upon request (20 legal entities). Main Activities :


  • Monthly and year-den accounting closings for the Swiss companies
  • Controlling for the business units headquarter (BUHQ) : cost control of corporate services, management fees determination
  • Preparation of the monthly group reporting incuding the cashflow statement
  • Preparation of consolidated business plan, forecasts,budgets and financial statements for the Group LNS
  • Watch over new accounting standards (IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER,: ) and responsible for the correct application of Swiss GAAP within LNS Group
  • Maintenance of the finance manual
  • Head of group IT system (Cognos and Tagetik)
  • Responsible to ensure proper transfer pricing methods within the group and the tax returns for swiss companies (VAT, income tax,: )

Others Activites :


  • Support Group CFO, on demand (insurance management, treasury activities, business plan tool: )
  • Supervises accounting, preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Can be involved in internal audits
  • Can lead or be part of group projects (change of reporting tool )

Experience & Skills


  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, tax or Audit and Federal Swiss Certificate expert in accounting and controlling
  • Relevant experience (10 years min.) in a similar position within an international environment or relevant experience with an international audit firm having reached a senior level in the organization
  • E xperience with an audit firm at the beginning of his/her career would be important
  • Able to do annual closing under Swiss law incuding tax returns (VTA, corporate income taxes)


  • Fluent French and English, German is a plus


  • Strong IT skills - MS Office applications, Consolidation/Reporting/BI tools and ERP knowledge (ideally M3)
