Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC) is an innovative and exciting part of IBM, working as IBM Consultings’ technical delivery partner. We continually innovate for our customers, employees and shareholders. Our Technical Skills range from Application Development (Java, Front End, Full Stack, DevOps), Testing Services, Technical Support through to Microsoft. In addition to our technical expertise we can cover Delivery through Project Managers & Project Analysts, Business or Data Analysts.

Your impact:
  • Support clients’ in the definition and specification of requirements
  • Contribute to the design of innovative E-Government solutions, which make a difference to Swiss Public Clients and Swiss citizens
  • Act as the interface between business and IT and contribute to agile development teams
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of business requirements, its consequences on the solution design and/or the business value
  • Facilitate client workshops

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Extensive experience in Requirements Engineering / Business Analysis, preferably in the public sector
  • CPRE Foundation Level certificate or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in SQL
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and use cases
  • Strong business orientation with outstanding analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English (written & spoken)
  • Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
