Project Manager Warranty

Responsibilities:

Are you ready to join our journey towards a low carbon future for marine applications? We are looking for a project manager who can contribute to drive our warranty projects (engine modifications during warranty period).

  • Lead and manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) projects including the leading of interdisciplinary project teams
  • Take over the role to be the customer first contact, ensuring customer satisfaction through open and proactive communication
  • Assist with warranty related inspections and troubleshooting onboard the vessel, as well as support with any modifications, if required
  • Cooperate ongoing warranty claims with global and local warranty team
  • Provide remote troubleshooting & technical support to the ship-owner for warranty cases together with WinGD specialists
  • Specify appropriate system components, calculate component quantities, and create detailed bills-of material for material and labour cost estimate
  • Manage changes in the project. Level-appropriate escalation and organization of immediate measures in case of deviations
  • Establish a professional reporting towards customer and WinGD internal including regular follow up meetings
  • Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been given relevant consideration
  • Collaborate to budget overall costs and define the required risk management strategy

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced project manager with knowledge of the shipping industry and marine applications and regulations paired with a good understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development.

  • University degree in (Mechanical) Engineering
  • 5-8 years of fundamental experience in project management
  • PMP (PMI) Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience in marine business related professions of advantage (superintendent, logistics, yard, C/Engineer)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Passion for results achievement
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)

Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if needed.
