For our Swiss Entity in Dagmersellen, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and proactive individual for the permanent position as

Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be reporting to the National Key Account Manager and be the first point of contact for your assigned customers. You will negotiate, manage, and execute all relevant activities (promotions, merchandising, distribution, budget and annual plans) to support JTI’s growth objectives. You will work in close collaboration with the Senior Key Account Management team to develop your expertise in optimizing the business’s most valued customer relationships as part of your personal growth plan. You will have the opportunity to participate in mentoring and various learning & development programs. Responsibilities

  • Conduct negotiations by realizing trade term conditions, portfolio, distribution and visibility programs with assigned accounts. Be responsible for the effective implementation of sales, distribution and merchandising activities in assigned key accounts
  • Manage stock levels on base and promotional SKUs to secure optimal product availability and to maximize account performance. Plan optimal customer related activity budgets, monitor compliance, and regularly conduct field visits to understand market & trade dynamics
  • Develop strong customer plans to strengthen the business by participating actively in cycle plan preparations ensuring Marketing & Sales initiatives can be implemented with excellence
  • Ensure best communication flow between Field Force, Marketing and Customer Service and build strong internal relationship with Marketing & Sales and other key functions such as Finance & Legal
  • Identify new account opportunities by proposing concepts, initiatives and special projects to maximize sales

Qualifications and Experience

  • A business degree or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in Sales
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong command of written and spoken English & German. Knowledge of French language will constitute as an asset
  • Analytical skills & commercial thinking
  • Good communication and presentation skills, ability to present plans & new ideas in a compelling manner
