We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Digital Sales Department. This department oversees the company’s online distribution channels and mobile applications. The primary objective of this role is to utilise data to steer strategic decision-making and enhance business performance while establishing robust reporting systems and processes. Your focus will be to offer actionable insights that optimise the performance of our digital solutions by harnessing the power of data and transforming it into strategic insight to further refine these solutions. In this capacity, you will supervise one individual. This role is pivotal in monitoring and reporting on key metrics, facilitating data-informed decision-making, and contributing to the overall success and expansion of our digital solutions and activities. We expect from this position to enhance visibility into performance, improve the ability to identify optimization and growth opportunities, increase effectiveness in driving continuous improvement, and provide better insights into the profitability of our activities.

Your tasks

  • Lead a subteam and improve operations and performance of the team responsible for providing insights from digital data.
  • Take ownership of the pipeline of data and analytics use cases across the digital products managed by the team.
  • Establish and monitor use case value delivery and KPIs and regularly review performance with key stakeholders.
  • Translate business inquiries into analytical solutions and use cases that produce actionable insights.
  • Define data requirements, data models, and data architecture to support further analysis.
  • Lead and conduct advanced data analysis to derive meaningful insights and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Apply statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms to extract insights, foster innovation, and optimize business performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on data insights.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, privacy laws, and industry standards in data management and analytics activities.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any data-related legal and ethical considerations.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, and data integration, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Your profile

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, IT, MBA, or possess equivalent commercial experience and discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience (preferably in healthcare) with relevant working knowledge in delivering actionable analytical insights that drive positive business results.
  • Possess strategic business acumen and understanding of commercial and marketing approaches.
  • Exhibit proficiency in analytical methods, statistical models and tools, and hypothesis building.
  • Have the ability to communicate and collaborate across business and technical teams, with empathy and sensitivity for differences in data maturity.
  • Possess strong project and people management skills to execute complex initiatives and to get things done.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to challenge the status quo and to be solutions oriented.
  • Exhibit the ability to motivate key stakeholders from different teams to work towards the same goal.
  • Possess experience in change management.
