Job description

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for leading and developing information security and data privacy for IKEA Supply. You will also together with your peers have the dual assignment to continuously improve Information Security and Data Privacy strategy for IKEA. You will lead and develop the IKEA Information Security and Data Privacy team, which is part of the Supply Data & technology department. With your broad knowledge, clear leadership, you will be a big contributor to the protection and strengthening of the IKEA Brand and trademark and support with frameworks, best practices and communities of practice. You will lead the information security and data privacy capability for IKEA Supply through a wide collaboration network across IKEA.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:

  • Lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer.
  • Define and implement the relevant technical and organisational measures to address identified risks in IKEA Supply.
  • Lead the IKEA Supply Information Security and Data Privacy team by securing competent and high performing teams and leaders. To inspire and empower co-workers and leaders to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.
  • Secure the design of the IKEA Supply target technology landscape, which is based on high business ambitions and on existing platforms.
  • Foster information security awareness both by initiating / facilitating activities and performing security, risk and privacy assessments.
  • Ensure IT control activities, establish process for investigating, act on security incidents and privacy breaches and contribute to enhancing business continuity plans with IT related incident response.
  • Shared responsibility in developing the Inter IKEA Group frameworks, standards and best practices for information security and data privacy.
  • Shared Responsibility for creating and developing the Information Security & Data Privacy network of expertise.

In this role you will report to our Digital Manager at IKEA Supply and work closely with the Information Security & Data Privacy Manager at Inter IKEA Group and Supply Risk management team to lead towards uniformity and commonality, contributing to the Inter IKEA Information Security & Data Privacy framework and delivering on the needs of IKEA Supply.

We expect you to have a solid knowledge of Information Security, IT, IT Risk, cybersecurity and Privacy frameworks. People turn to you for advice of how to embed and manage information, IT and privacy risk, business continuity in the digital transformation journey. You have had experience as a key business partner to supply chain organizations, securing the ‘Security and Privacy by Design’ concept and integrating the function into business processes and Vendor / Supplier Management. Ideally you also have a solid transformational leadership experience in information security and data privacy, preferably from a flexible and dynamic environment.
