To complete our FC - Legal / Patent department, we are currently looking for a Patent Paralegal. In this role you will manage legal administrative tasks of Nestlé patent portfolios, assist the patent attorneys with management of their deadlines, instruct agents, prepare and do filings at the patent offices.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Monitor correspondence of patent attorneys with outside agents and patent offices  
  • Select from the correspondence relevant dates and actions to be taken and manage deadlines
  • Load information timely and accurately in database                             
  • Independently write instructions to local agents on legal administrative matters including extension of patent application and national phases                                      
  • Prepare patent application forms and do filings directly at the patent offices             
  • Work for several patent attorneys at the same time and provide backup to other paralegals as required                        
  • Participate in processes enhancements                                                                       

Required profile

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of previous paralegal experience preferably with IP/Patents
  • Interest in IP and data updating
  • Knowledge of law will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to cope accurately with correspondence during high workload
  • Knowledge of practice area and ability to anticipate actions
  • Good written communication and computer skills
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
