It is Implenia's aim is to utilize fundamental changes in the construction industry to the advantage of our customers, employees and shareholders. To this end, we need to strengthen our focus on innovation and invest accordingly. We will continue to expand our digital construction and BIM technologies, and our new Innovation Hub will concentrate on promising future business models and digital development. We will also promote promising niche offers and develop the most attractive ones. And, last but not least, we will drive integrated project implementation and industrial design, particularly in development and buildings.
To make steps in our innovation journey, we need to understand the various developments and trends in the construction industry better and develop new approaches and methods to take advantage of the innovation opportunities that arise from them. The Master student will work on bringing theoretical and academic insights into our Innovation HUB and investigates in what opportunity spaces and developments we should increase our innovation activities.
The Master student is invited to apply for one, or a combination of the possible topics mentioned below. As part of the internship, research has to be conducted and a final report has to be delivered (Master thesis) .¤
- Investigation and quantification of innovation opportunity spaces on the Implenia innovation map
- Investigation of possible scale-ups / tech players in ecosystem per opportunity space
- Investigation of additional opportunity spaces that could be relevant to Implenia or the construction industry of the future
- Suggest proven methods to test and scale innovation in construction and engineering sector
