Our client, an international FMCG company, located in the area of Zurich, is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Category Buyer Indirect Services (m/f) to start as soon as possible.

Description

• Analyze historical spend data, budget, mid-term project list, and define category strategy
• Drive continuous improvements (cost and service) of assigned sourcing categories where appropriate
• Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs.
• Understand market forces and best practices
• Research and evaluate suppliers
• Develop RFX`s, evaluate, analyze and assess results, document recommendations, and communicate results to internal clients
• Define particular terms and conditions, negotiate contracts
• Manage and implement contracts
• Monitor and report results in spend reduction
• Support supplier relationship management
• Apply the purchasing process flows in line with the category strategy
• Ensure compliance with procurement policy

Profile

• University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar (required)
• Minimum 3 years of Indirect Sourcing experience in a multiple-site environment
• Previous experience in IT Sourcing activities is required
• Experience working independently, taking responsibility for procurement strategy across all levels of assigned organization
• Experience leading contract negotiations
• Knowledge or specific business understanding
• Thorough understanding of purchasing methodology
• Fluent English
