Treasury Analyst

Thomson Reuters is seeking a talented and experienced Treasury Analyst to join our esteemed finance team in Zug.

The Treasury Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing front office and back office treasury activities, contributing to our organization's strategic objectives and financial performance. About the role

As Treasury Analyst you will:

Execute daily cash positioning and liquidity management activities in alignment with Thomson Reuters' treasury policies and procedures.

Execute foreign exchange (FX) trades and investment transactions, utilizing financial instruments and market insights to optimize returns and manage risk effectively.

Foster strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions, ensuring efficient execution of transactions and resolution of issues.

Contribute to treasury-related projects and initiatives, driving innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in treasury operations.

Administer Thomson Reuters' bank accounts, overseeing account openings, closures, and signatory management and KYC refresh processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Manage electronic banking platforms, interfaces and Treasury Management System(s), optimizing connectivity and efficiency in cash management processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax and finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely recording of treasury transactions in Thomson Reuters' financial systems.

Support audit and compliance activities, providing documentation and analysis to facilitate internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.

About You

To be considered for the role of Treasury Analyst you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.

Minimum of three years of experience in treasury operations or related finance roles, preferably in a multinational organization.

Deep understanding of front office and back office treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity management, and risk management.

Proficiency in using treasury management systems (TMS) and electronic banking platforms, with experience in leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance controls.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and drive results.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across geographies and functions.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
