The Position

The Customer Experience and Solution Design Department has the mission to drive customer experience at scale in Roche Diagnostics by partnering with customer areas, global functions, and affiliates through enabling and designing end2end experiences across customers’ lifecycle with a focus on targeted users and their needs. It is a diverse team that brings together different expertise in the design field and represents a center of excellence for CX and Design Research in the healthcare industry.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with user research and design activities related to CX/UX project development

• Collaboratively translating user research into powerful insights that impact design and business decisions

• Communicating powerful insights to business stakeholders through written, visual and prototype form

• Creating service blueprints, customer journeys, and mock-ups

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Product Design, Service Design or Design Management within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you are

• Able to plan a user research study in collaboration with a product team

• Detail Preparation of user research activities

• Execution of qualitative research study, data collection

• Document of research results

• Able to create a customer journey or a service blueprint

Technical details:

The preferred start date for the internship is September 2024. Please state your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship in your application.

Part-time employment is possible

If required, it is possible to write a thesis during the internship.
