Product & Solutions Partner Oncology Central (80-100%*)

About the Role

Location: Central Switzerland

Your key responsibilities:
As Product & Solutions Partner Oncology for Breast cancer, you have the overall responsibility for developing long-term business relationships with our customers in the central region of Switzerland. You drive sales by understanding in depth the needs and requirements of the customers while ensuring the best customer experience with Novartis priority brand.
You assume full ownership for the healthcare ecosystem in the territory, promoting the priority portfolio products, designing and co-creating services and projects with medical practitioners and allied health care professionals. You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset to achieve faster access and better patients’ outcomes.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Have full command of in-label scientific data and a deep understanding in the respective therapeutic area of priority brands across the portfolio, market, customers and competitors.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, services, programs and company developments.
• Analyze market situation including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and key competitors.
• Accountable for in-depth understanding of a given territory and, brand potential, MS, competitor landscape, challenges and opportunities, as well as the local market access situation.
• Develop business plans across the full healthcare ecosystem in its territory, including dedicated KAM action plans for assigned accounts, aligning on account objectives and execution.
• Maps territory’s patient journeys for dedicated TA to identify the pain points and challenges, which delay the appropriate care or lead to suboptimal discharge management. Communicates and work in close collaboration with the in-field and office based cross functional team to shape and co-create the solutions to address identified gaps.
• Ensure patient views are incorporated in Novartis business decisions and solutions.
• Contributes positively to the Sales, Marketing and Medical teams sharing business insights based in deep competitive analysis, developing co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives.

Role Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in Health Science, Medicine or Economics or proven equivalence through business experience
• Fluent in German and business fluent in English
• 3+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical sales, ethical promotion of products to specialist physician targets
• In-depth knowledge of Swiss customer/marketplace, key dynamics and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies within the Therapeutic Areas
• Established Network to target Customer Group as well as specific product knowledge desirable
