Graduate - Group Compliance Officer



Overview


 


Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.



Our graduate programmes are intended for recent graduates. As part of this programme in our Compliance department, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed in your future career at Pictet but also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.


 


We offer you a permanent position starting with a unique 24-month programme during which you will rotate through different compliance teams.


 


As a Graduate – Group Compliance Officer, you will participate in AML / CFT activities, including embargoes, and also work on different projects pertaining to compliance elements of the Group’s internal control system and the use of a groupwide operational risk management database, including developing key indicators and reporting for management information and monitoring purposes.


 


At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position in our Compliance department where you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, challenging and consolidating compliance risks, risk mitigation measures and controls, as well as gap remediation needs, applicable to all business units in the Group. 


Your profile


 


•    Recent graduate (at least Bachelor’s degree) in Law, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
•    Up to two years’ experience, working for a financial company, bank or asset manager.
•    Willingness to take a postgraduate training course.
•    An eye for detail and good organizational skills.
•    Exposure to an international environment, either in a work-related, academic or personal context.
•    An enquiring mind with the ability to innovate, as well as a strong team player.
•    Fluent or native speaker of English and French; a reasonable command of another language would be a plus.
•    Strong computer skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Must be resident in Switzerland. 


 


Start date: September 1st or October 1st 2024
