Job description AC Immune is seeking a highly qualified Biology Laboratory Technician to
expandthe company’s efforts in research and development. The candidate
must possess technical background in immunology or neuroscience and
more specifically in biochemistry. The candidate must have demonstrated
ability in establishing protein and cell based assays and in maintaining an
excellent record of experiments in laboratory notebooks and protocols

Key Responsibilities •Characterize therapeutic antibodies/vaccines by several different
analytical methods such as ELISAs, MSD, ELISPOT, cell culture
systems, electrophoresis, immunohistochemistry


  • Perform Immunology: Immunoassays, immunoblotting, protein
    detection in animal and human samples

  • Work in Cellular Biology: Culture cell lines, primary cell cultures and
    establish cell-based assays

  • Having experience in Western blotting; AlphaLISA Biochemistry, would
    be an asset

  • Analyze Data, in charge of instrument maintenance and general
    laboratory organization

  • Present data in research meetings

  • Write draft reports

Qualifications & Skills Required:


  • CFC of biological or medical laboratory assistant or equivalent
    education

  • At least three years of professional experience

  • Excellent capabilities in work organization and data documentation

  • Team spirit paired with autonomous, organized and careful work style

  • Swiss Certificate for working with animals is an asset

  • Good oral and written skills in French and English
