Sustainable Procurement Specialist (f/m/d)

We are establishing a central support organization, Corporate Procurement for Product and Sales Centers, within the Corporate Supply Chain division at Endress+Hauser Group Services in Switzerland.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team with a strong focus on sustainability and achieving long-term net-zero targets with our global suppliers. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our supply chain activities towards an ambitious net-zero goal.


 


Role + Responsibilities:



  • You will generate transparency through the preparation and consolidation of the relevant data. Based on this, you work with the various entities in the group to derive measures to reduce the emissions

  • You will develop and operate group-wide networks in close coordination with other processes in the context of sustainability

  • You will run projects for data consolidation and emission reduction in procurement within the group and in collaboration with external partners

  • You will introduce the framework for the achievements of sustainability goals 

  • You will support the local entities in achieving the sustainability goals

  • You will make the CO2 Footprint within the Supply Chain and the comprehensive contribution towards Group sustainability targets visible


 


Qualifications +Profile:



  • Technical or Business degree

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Committed to driving sustainability in the supply chain and procurement

  • Creativity, analytical thinking, communication skills and intercultural competence

  • Strong project and process management capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in German and English 

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations in the area of material compliance such as RoHS, REACH, etc. is desirable

  • Knowledge of handling compliance and sustainability, consequences, impacts and considering them in the procurement process
