Senior Controller Manufacturing & Logistics (M/F)

We are looking for... ...our Finance Department for a highly motivated Senior Controller Manufacturing & Logistics (M/F)  Your tasks

• Define and calculate product standard costs as per US GAAP; calculate manufacturing overhead; analyze actual product costs, identify and analyze deviations from standard cost and adjust calculations if necessary


• Define and maintain product costing in SAP; support Manufacturing & Logistics in the implementation of SAP requirements as well as in the design and implementation of SOPs


• Ensure correct monthly valuation of stocks in the balance sheet; prepare accounting vouchers


• Prepare and pro-actively support Manufacturing & Logistics in production plans and supply chain. Represent Finance/Controlling in Sales & Operations Planning S&OP meetings


• Arrange, coordinate and support Manufacturing & Logistics activities for the launch of products on the market


• Pro-actively prepare, review and challenge annual budgets, forecasts & latest estimates in close cooperation with Department Heads and Project Leaders; collect, record and check budget data in Hyperion


• Prepare budget reviews with Basilea executive management


• Responsible for monthly reporting packages for Project Leaders, Cost Center Heads and Department Heads; analyze costs, identify and comment deviations from budgets

Your profile

• University or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration


• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in an international environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry


• Very good language skills fluent in English, spoken and written, any other language is considered beneficial


• Excellent communication skills at different levels


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment with a high level of integrity


• Well-organized and structured with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, keep the overview and good capacity to priorities well


• Advanced user Skills of SAP (SAP FI/CO, MM, PP, SD)
