Key information

The Team Leader Quality Assembly will manage the quality activities during SOP / PPAP phase and in serial production (OEE improvement, scrap reduction). He/she will be responsible for quality processes in a highly automated, complex and 24/7 production environment. He/she will organize and lead continuous improvement activities, ensuring that information flows correctly within the teams and with the internal/external suppliers.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage the Assembly Quality Team (10 Q-inspectors 1x Q-technician)
  • Lead the quality KPIs in their evaluation and monitoring - in order to achieve the required quality targets
  • Evaluate the problems generated by the assembly lines and define the necessary countermeasures in cross-functionalteams (production, maintenance, etc.) through the implementation of CIPs
  • Coordinate the definition, implementation and verification of reported measures, including feedback from all relevant parties
  • Be involved in line release and PPAP submission of new actuators
  • Handle internal and external quality complaints in collaboration with the Customer Quality team
  • Participate in daily QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) meetings
  • Manage the change (management) activities for the assembly lines
  • Manage the quarantine and the incoming inspection in collaboration with the Team Leader Quality Components
  • Participate and organize internal process audit in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.

Our requirements:

  • Engineering degree – preferred to the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related
  • Management skills - Relevant leadership experience of more than 3 years in similar positions in a modern manufacturing environment – preferably automotive industry
  • In-depth knowledge of APQP and related disciplines (D,P-FMEA, control plans, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in the problem-solving methodology by using Q-tools such as 8D, Fault-Tree Analysis, Ishikawa…
  • Basic technical experience in DC / BLDC / stepper motors, injection, stamping
  • Proficient French and English language skills - both written and verbal (knowledge of German is considered as a plus)
  • Capable of dealing with pressure and able to voice his/her opinion
  • You are rigorous, reliable and precise. 0 PPM mentality
  • Self-starter, able to work without close supervision successfully and comfortably on assigned tasks
  • Flexible, open to support the team in a 24/7 production environment
