Our client is part of an international Group, a global technology leader in manufacturing high-precision machine tools for milling, turning, boring and grinding workpieces of metallic, composite and ceramic materials. The company develops, builds and commercializes fully automated, highly precise and productive equipment to manufacture implants, medical instruments and dental components, as well as luxury goods and various high-precision micromechanical workpieces with high value added. Its machining solutions enable the reduction of machining steps, shortening delivery and increasing factory output. To strengthen our client’s sales department, we are looking for a passionate sales personality

Sales Director – MedTech

In this senior level position, you will be focused on increasing sales and market share in the MedTech and Micromechanics segments leading a sales team spread over clearly defined and targeted inter-national markets.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage and support a sales team with focus on performance and results
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to boost MedTech business first
  • Build up and maintain close relations with key accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and assess their potential
  • Report market trends to the company’s management team
  • Support the business development strategy with the company’s management team
  • Conduct the necessary market and sales channel analyses
  • Conduct and update competitive intelligence

Your profile

  • Engineering degree in mechanics
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales or business development in machine tools industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the technical needs and constraints of the MedTech/Orthopedic and possibly dental implants production
  • Significant international contact network in both machine tools and MedTech industries
  • Good communication skills, open-minded and focused on customer satisfaction
  • Autonomy, entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, sense of responsibility, team player
  • Capacity to travel without constraints
  • French, German and English are a must, any additional language is an asset
