The company provides Trustee, Fiduciary and Philanthropic Services and has office in Geneva, Zug/Zurich and Luxembourg. As trustee Reliance is licensed by FINMA and monitored by a supervisory organisation (SO-FIT). The company is a member of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC).

For our office in the heart of Geneva, we are looking for a full time compliance officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new client on boarding
  • Review request of amendments on existing client accounts
  • Review the quality of the annual reviews and sign-off
  • Oversee and sign-off on quarterly transaction monitoring
  • Annual MLA audit preparation
  • Preparation of quarterly compliance reports
  • Ability to contribute to improve the existing work directives and procedures
  • Support and advice in terms of compliance and KYC
  • Liaise with trust officers to identify any areas of concerns and improve processes
  • Coordinate the compliance needs with the Luxembourg team
  • Train employees on systems and internal policies in Switzerland and in Luxembourg

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of client documentation and regulations in Swiss trust industry
  • CRS and FATCA experience would be an advantage
  • General knowledge of Swiss & international tax system and of the local statutory requirements
  • Ideally with legal background
  • TEP qualified, Viewpoint knowledge, and Luxembourg experience would be an advantage

Profile:

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently, to establish priorities and keep deadlines
  • A team player, with good communications skills, a positive working attitude and ‘hands-on’ mentality
  • Good English language skills are essential (both oral and written)
