Market Intelligence Officer

The Market Intelligence Officer will be responsible for supporting the generation and coordination of market intelligence activities for key diagnostics FIND supports. The position will report to the Senior Market Analyst, with regular opportunities to work across FIND’s Market Shaping, R&D and country teams.

The main responsibilities of this position are to support the Market Intelligence work for key diagnostics across disease areas as follows:

  • Support the Market Shaping and R&D teams by writing concept notes to determine Market Intelligence scope and requirements
  • Develop Terms of References (TOR) and Request for Quotes (where needed) for Market Intelligence projects
  • Help develop FIND’s network of partners and service providers to improve FIND’s Market Intelligence reach
  • Coordinate and monitor the Market Intelligence projects performed by consultants: organize and attend regular check-ins, review methodology and outputs during the project, liaise with R&D and Market Shaping team for secondary and primary research needs, ensure project is on track
  • Conduct desk reviews, scanning literature (reports, guidelines, data, scientific articles, etc.) to collect publicly available market information
  • Conduct primary market intelligence by developing discussion guides and conducting structured interviews with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Synthesize multiple inputs and opinions to generate insights, practical action items, and a strategic direction
  • Prepare materials for presentation to senior leaders within FIND and other partner organizations
  • Support dissemination strategy for key Market Intelligence outputs through the Market Intelligence Hub
  • Centralize Market Intelligence data and insights in a Knowledge Management System

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a related field such as business administration (MBA) or public health desirable
  • At least 2 and a maximum of 5 years of professional experience working in a related field
  • Prior experience in Healthcare will be a plus
  • Proven analytical and quantitative modeling skills, especially with large datasets
