Competences The mission of the Utilities Maintenance Supervisor is to manage the maintenance and operation of the CVSE technical installations (Utilities) in collaboration with his/her line manager and to assist the latter in managing the Utilities Maintenance team. 2. Skills/Knowledge Required · 8-10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector. · Expert in several maintenance-related technical fields. Comprehensive knowledge of the following areas: ventilation, water treatment, mechanics, adjustment and control, and electricity. Multidisciplinary competencies. Must be able to analyse and develop solutions for complex mechanical and electrical problems. · Must be familiar with cGMP procedures, critical systems and local practices. · Must adhere to all the site’s safety regulations and ensure compliance. · Fluent in French and good knowledge of English (spoken and written). · Excellent organisational skills. · Demonstrate leadership skills. · Excellent team and leadership spirit. · Multi skilled with ability to work on own initiative. · “Customer service” oriented. · Capable of taking the initiative and resolving problems. · Good computer literacy. (MS Office, CMMS, etc.). 3. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise or implement to the highest standards preventive and corrective maintenance operations on CVSE installations (Utilities). This includes CVSE installations (Utilities) in all buildings including critical Utilities production installations (HVAC, PW, AC, CIP, WWT, US, HW, clean rooms, etc.). The site's power supply (transformers, low and medium voltage Switchboards, etc.) and security equipment (sprinkler pumps, emergency lighting, smoke exhaust, ventilators, etc.) also come within the scope of Utilities. Ensure the efficiency, reliability and quality of Utilities equipment. Ensure that the chosen maintenance operations (preventive or corrective) do not impact the validity of critical equipment and the quality of the end product. · Assist the line manager in managing all aspects of the Utilities Maintenance service and manage the service in that person’s absence (manage requests from outside the service, schedules, deviations, audits, conflicts, EIP performances, etc.). · Manage the day-to-day work of the Utilities Maintenance service (manage WOs, review and approve procedures, review weekly datasheets, etc.). · Assist immediate colleagues in their daily activities by improving their basic knowledge. This position requires strong training and coaching skills. · Assist the Process Maintenance Supervisor in his/her daily activities. · Draft maintenance procedures and review the procedures and forms of Utilities technicians. · Inform the various partners about their activities, their lines of action or the work needed to ensure that installations function properly. · Participate in CMMS management. (Codification, follow-up on WOs and, follow-up on components and spare parts, organise planned preventive maintenance, etc.). · Based on historical data of machines, the post holder will note defects or breakdowns and advise line management, as well as suggest corrective solutions. . Define continuous improvements, assist in and contribute to optimising production and laboratory equipment by participating in the management of associated projects. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement. · Participate in setting up and validating new equipment with engineering, internal departments and external contractors. · Ensure that GMP requirements, Health, Safety and Environment regulations and procedures are applied and complied with at all times when carrying out maintenance. · Ensure cleanliness throughout the technical areas devoted to utilities. · Participate in standby duties. · Be prepared to make business trips. EHS : · Line Managers shall provide a safe and healthy work environment for their staff in areas under their control, and shall ensure compliance with relevant rules and legislation in those areas. · Work closely with EHS to evaluate hazards and perform risk analysis. · Ensure that staff(including short duration and temporary contracts) is properly informed on hazards, and trained to act in consequence. · Promote safe practices and behaviours, verify that EHS rules are implemented and respected. · Report immediately all incidents and near-misses to EHS, participate in investigations and identify preventive measures to prevent similar accidents in the future.
