As part of the BOBST IoT Lab team in charge of our connected products and services, you will contribute to the full software delivery cycle of our Cloud-based backend and edge software.

Important notes
This is a hands-on role, and we strive to keep the hierarchy as flat as possible. If you are looking for a role as Team Lead, Enterprise Architect, Project/Program Manager, this job is not for you.

Also, BOBST IoT developers are fully accountable for the quality of their deliveries, for writing automated tests, for integrating into DevOps/CI/CD, for deploying to production, for monitoring the environments, and for supporting the organization. If you think that developers should "only" focus on code, this job is not for you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and integration of cloud-based and embedded software solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members (both local and remote), Product Owners, and resources from other departments to deliver well-qualified high-quality software.
  • Be an actor of the Scrum processes actively participating in all ceremonies, code reviews, retrospectives, and provide constructive feedback to improve the team's dynamics and output.
  • Ensure deliveries are aligned with architectural and design principles.
  • Monitor production environment, support users, proactively troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

Your professional experience
  • Proven experience of working with Microsoft Azure or similar "Cloud native" platforms implementing serverless applications (Azure Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Developer Associate a definite plus).
  • At least 2 years of software development experience with C#, or similar languages such as Java or C++; knowledge of Python and PowerShell a plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Bash, container technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with automated infrastructure deployment tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, Cloud Formation, a definite plus.
  • At ease with agile and DevOps practices.

Your education and languages capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Software engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Full proficiency in English, French a strong asset.
