MEP Technical – Mechanical

For our Technical Department, we are looking for a MEP Technical - Mechanical with experience in the field of design and installation of moderately complex mechanical systems with training and/or work experience in Switzerland.

The role involves:

Working closely with architects and other stakeholders to design mechanical and hydraulic systems, including electrical skills, that meet the specific needs and requirements of a building

Performing calculations to determine the heating and cooling loads required for HVAC systems and evaluating the correct mechani

Driving compliance of the relevant safety regulations on site; provide guidance and support meeting SHE requirements.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in construction /datacenters is a plus

Proven leadership competence

Good knowledge in German and English required, French/Italian a plus

Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training to elevate knowledge, skills and behaviors at multiple levels of the organization.

Previous safety experience in some of the following areas: safety program development, fire prevention, hazardous materials, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, process safety management, process hazard analysis, incident investigation and the development and implementation of safe operations procedures and processes.

Able to work to deadlines and with a proven track record of delivering the SHE scope in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

Diploma in engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in DATA CENTER business, with actual track record in this specific sector.

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work independently or in a team.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Flexibility.

Professional English is a must; German would be a considerable plus. Additional languages (Italian or French) are appreciated.
