Main goal
The Media Operations Coordinator ensures the highest standards of delivery for UEFA club competitions seasons.
Key responsibilities
Managing all media operations for the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) and the UEFA Women's
Champions League (UWCL), including:


  • In-season preparation, debriefing and monitoring of media operations in conjunction with other UEFA divisions;

  • Regularly communicating with club press officers and club channels, including issue management;

  • Supporting season and matchweek back-office preparations for all club competitions (with a focus on UECL and

UWCL) for key media and broadcast projects (incl. review of site visit reports and club channels administration);


  • Overseeing media operations during matchweeks, including matchnight match command centre assignments;

  • Supporting venue media managers (VMM) in the venue assignment process, briefings, workshops and training

sessions;


  • Contributing to the development of the VMM role and its responsibilities;

  • Working as VMM on an ad hoc basis during the season;

  • Managing the media operations for one of the club competition finals;

  • Supporting the media operations for season events, such as draws and season kick-off;

  • Organising relevant workshops and meetings (season and/or cycle kick-off, press officers, club media forum, etc.)

  • Providing support in relation to media attendance (media accreditations and match bookings);

  • Coordinating competition-specific content publication with the media channel responsible

Profile
Experience required:


  • from 1 to 3 years' experience in the sports industry, with an emphasis on media and broadcast operations

  • from 1 to 3 years' experience in sports project management, in particular in operations or the commercial sector

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Higher education qualification in media or sports event management

Languages:


  • English / Proficient

Additional requirements:


  • MS Office / Advanced

  • Project Management / Advanced

  • Other languages an advantage

  • Available to travel

  • Good knowledge of and interest in sport, and football in particular
