is looking for a

 

Communication and Sport Events Manager Asian countries

to strengthen its Sports department.

Contract: 100% permanent

Start date: Immediate availability

Location: Lausanne

 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Reporting directly to FINA’s Executive Director, the Communication and Sports Events Manager Asian countries will be responsible for supporting FINA’s management with the coordination of the various Aquatics disciplines at FINA’s Events;

 

Act as administrative liaison and coordinator officer between FINA and the Organising committees at main FINA’s events;

 

Plan and organise multi-functions, managing relationships and preparation of proposals, progress reports and final reports.

 

Provide support to the Marketing and Communication teams in order to support the development of appropriate strategies, the planning and implementation of FINA’s PR, brand and marketing communications in relation with FINA’s events and sports disciplines;

 

Provide services to FINA’s Asian Partners with focus on servicing Korean partners;

 

Communicate with National Federations, future organising committees and FINA partner’s;

 

Serve as dedicated interpreter and translator for FINA Management in Chinese and Korean languages;

 

Coordinate specific ad hoc situations at Events;

 

 

Profile

 

Highly proficient in communication, verbal and written skills;

 

Korean, Chinese and English high proficiency skills;

 

Significant experience in similar position at main international sports event;

 

Aquatics Sports background;

 

International coordinator position at important and large sports event;

 

Ability to work under pressure;

 

Capability to work skills, team work and human interactions;

 

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools;

 

Journalistic background (Master degree in journalism);

 

Willing to travel; flexibility to work outside office hours including week-ends;
