Job Summary: The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, as well as shaping Constellium’s M&A strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and continuously assess Constellium’s M&A strategy and priorities, as well as prepare supporting analysis
  • Identify and execute M&A projects, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures
  • Manage the M&A process from end-to-end, from opportunity origination to transaction structuring and negotiation, to post-merger integration planning and execution
  • Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc presentation materials to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
  • Maintain relationships with investment banks
  • Support other Corporate Strategy projects, as time permits
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20% depending on current projects)

Specific Competencies:

  • Ability to lead M&A processes from end-to-end, including sourcing, initial evaluation, detailed diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations, closing and integration planning
  • Financial modeling and valuation
  • Strong analytical background and attention to detail
  • Project management
  • Strong presentation skills and Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in international and multicultural environment, or ability to adapt to such environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent required
  • 6-8 years’ total experience in finance or strategy-based roles, including 2+ years of investment banking or consulting experience required
  • Experience in private equity or similar role is preferred, but not required
  • Fluency in English is required
  • French and/or German language skills are preferred, but not required
