Financial Analyst RES


 


Your tasks


  • Supports Division HQ Controller and Division CFO by delivering comprehensive, complete and timely financial information for the purpose of business management and decision making

  • Supports and coordinates planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Division Finance Organization

  • Support and train legal entities worldwide for reporting and consolidation system matters

  • Actively support month-end closing activities including proper analysis considering actuals vs. budget & prior month forecast

  • Performs various monthly ad-hoc reporting requests to ease division financials understanding

  • Performs HQ Cost Centres controlling activities (Central costs, IT Costs and R&D)

  • Contribute to monthly MIS presentation preparation

  • Ensure legal entities are submitting their reporting packages on-time and according to Sulzer standards

  • Identifies and manages continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function

 


Your profile


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • At least 2 years of work experience with focus on Financial Analysis / Controlling

  • Highly developed skills in external and internal financial reporting

  • Excellent understanding of integrated ERP

  • Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel

  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externally

  • Good analytical skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and deep business understanding

  • Very strong problem solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks and processes    

  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple improvement initiatives at once

  • Fluent in English
