ServiceNOW Developer

Job Description

Integrating the internal ServiceNOW team and reporting directly to the Applications Manager, you are responsible for ServiceNOW development and operational support. Your role is to support and enhance the ServiceNOW platform including ITSM, ITBM and ITOM products. You provide technical support, configuration and expertise, and work closely with IT, internal business and external providers.

 

Your responsibilities

• Building and maintaining integrations using Spokes, Web Services, JDBC, LDAP, SQL
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Polices, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACL's
• Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters
• Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows
• Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls
• Develop and provide technical documentation using stories
• Drive process optimization, efficiencies and productivity using automation
• Implement technical requirements while working with standard design principles
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities when needed

 

Your Profile

 

• At least 3 years' experience in an industrial environment
• A first work experience as ServiceNOW Developer, using ITBM and ITSM products
• IT Technical degree or equivalent
• Living near Lausanne, Biel or Stabio, or willing to relocate

Your Personal Backpack

 

• Ability with incident, change, project, CMDB and application management
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ServiceNOW scripting (JavaScript, Web Services)
• Experience within ESC portal and ITBM, ITSM, and/or ITOM products
• Experience with creation and/or customization of ServiceNOW core applications
• Experience with process and workflow modeling
• Experience with scripting technologies (XML, HTML, CSS, PowerShell) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Good communication and collaboration skills in international environment
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and relational databases

How to Communicate

 

• Fluent in English written and spoken (mandatory)
• Good French knowledge
• Any other languages are welcome
