Manufacturing Technology Manager

We are looking for


A Team player, with very good communication and reporting skills to exchange up-and downwards the managerial structure. Someone with a strong organization skills and excellent decision-making, capable to resolve conflict and able to communicate the larger context of projects and decisions.

Your Mission

  • Supervise, support and motivate engineers and technicians in order to optimize continuous improvement
  • Ensure the recruitment, training, evaluations and professional development of the team members. Encourage their adherence to ETEL’s values, rules and processes
  • Supervise the safety and work-life balance of the team members and the safety of production means
  • Prepare the technology for transfer and production in a multisite environment
  • Establish communication with various production sites for quality control and common approaches to product and process improvement
  • Control production costs and guide the implementation of improvements
  • Establish roadmaps for industrialization and continuous improvement projects and guarantee the staffing of the individual projects, initiate the co-operation with other departments for the establishment and the follow-up of common goals
  • Distribute the work load among the team members, and follow up on task completion
  • Challenge technical solutions in a greater context and estimate, manage/mitigate the risks (e.g. matrix, FMEA)
  • Report on the progress of the team’s work, agree with other teams the share of work and the timelines and escalate blocking points
  • Plan, administrate and monitor the department budget
  • Represent the interest of the Operations department in quality reviews and development steering committees


Your Profile


  • Master degree (Engineering)
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing technology in a complex organization
  • Experience in people management as project or team leader
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of management techniques and tools including strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Experience in project planning and project follow-up tools (scrum, agile)
  • Knowledge of production information systems and logistics
  • Experience in financial aspects of production and project management
  • Fluent written / spoken English and French
