The Director ISBD EMEA Human Milk manages and develops the revenue growth strategy, managing and developing the capabilities of a team of Sales directors and the business partners of the region. The role creates the overall strategy for the business, identifies and develops new markets with high potential for Medela BU HM & bibi. He / She fosters a healthy growth rate (long-term) in existing ISBD markets and takes full P/L accountability for the area. Furthermore he / she is a guardian of governance, regulatory requirements and strict compliance to the Code of Conduct of OLH/Medela. The incumbent transfers the mission, goals and strategy of Medela into the area and assures the implementation of HM/bibi strategy by selecting and guiding the distributors in ISBD region.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall business growth strategy, revenue and profit of the ISBD EMEA business
  • Fosters talent management, develops capabilities and coaches Sales Directors & business partners within ISBD EMEA
  • Responsible the identifying new business potential and developing markets which have not yet been covered by Medela BU HM
  • Evaluates, selects and engages external distributors according to Medela / ISBD EMEA strategy and govern-ance rules
  • Develops business cases and sales strategies for existing and new markets and implements, after manage-ment approval
  • Guides and supervises BU HM strategy implementation through independent distributors by coaching, facili-tating and managing sales plans
  • Responsible for sales and cost budget of the assigned area (P/L accountability).
  • Regularly briefs the direct superior as well as EVP HM on regional developments and collects input on BU intents and planning
  • Reviews the performance (mid-year and end-of-year review) and proposes incentives for his direct reports
  • Fosters talent management, develops capabilities and coaches Sales Directors & business partners within ISBD EMEA

Your qualifications

  • University/College degree (Bachelor or Master) in business administration, management or marketing or equivalent education
  • Additional training in business development, sales strategy and distributor management
  • 5+ years in as marketing and sales manager in relevant industry, e.g. health care, consumer goods
  • 5+ years in international/regional leadership position with a major company in its field
    Team player and team leader (facilitator and coach)
  • Natural authority, leading by role model
  • Able and willing to travel extensively
