Powerplant Technician
You will be part of our new service unit that we will introduce in a step-by-step approach called Quick Turn Line. You will work with a team of experts that performs high level engine repairs at our premises but also abroad directly at our client’s facilities. Together with our team of subject matter professionals we will invent a brand new style of MRO state of the art services that will ensure excellent turnaround times and quality.
Your tasks
- Disassembly and assembly of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition
- Inspections and Checks on Engines
- Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders
- Documentation of activities assigned in accordance with regulations
- Engineering clarification in case of deviation from manufacturer's instructions
- Continuous improvement of executed processes, aiming improvement of quality and reducing production cost
- Performance of internal audits (eg. 5S audits) and in-time implementation of the defined actions
Your profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
- Working experience in aviation MRO
- In case of field assistance: willingness to travel
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends, if required
- Solid Communication skills
- Problem Solving skills
- Independent, precise and responsible work
- Open-minded, dedicated team player
- High safety, quality and cost awareness
- Solid in MS office and SAP experience
- Language: German (min. A2) and English (min B1)
